case: Populicom
A window of opportunities
We provided Continuous Integration and Content Management System services to PopuliCom for the Ana G. Méndez University in Costa Rica, opening up new opportunities for the institution worldwide.
Opening new horizons
We collaborated with Ana G. Méndez University to expand their horizons in Costa Rica and beyond. The educational institution needed a bilingual website, accessible in both English and Spanish, with an effective search engine for users to find academic programs and other relevant information. To achieve this, we utilized a Drupal-based CMS and implemented a CI pipeline, ensuring a seamlessly running website for students, teachers, and other potential users. In line with UAGM’s requirements, we delivered a responsive and redesigned website, ready for the upcoming semester.

Journey
We collaborated with an existing Drupal 9 foundation to establish a robust Content Management System, utilizing Acquia as the hosting solution. Additionally, we addressed Drupal theming issues, enhancing the overall visual and interactive aspects of the website. Moreover, we implemented Solr to deliver a search engine that aligns with the University’s needs, and we ensured the website's responsiveness for seamless viewing across various devices. As a final touch, we facilitated the internationalization of the content.
Destination
At the conclusion of this endeavor, we presented a responsive website (UX) accompanied by a restructured and energy-efficient Continuous Integration pipeline. By refining an existing Drupal foundation, we elevated the user experience.
We effectively met all the requirements of UAGM, providing them with a website prepared to welcome new students from around the world.
